| Information on French Bulldog Frenchies are intelligent, active, muscular bone structure, and smooth coat. Expressions are curious, alert and interested. Incredible loves!!! Size, Proportion and Substance: Height: 11 -14 inches at the shoulder blade Weight : 19-28 pounds U.S.A. and 18-31 pounds FCI Temperament: Curious, Playful, Affectionate. Care & Training: Very little grooming is needed. Frog dogs shine comes from inside and out! Use a natural bristle brush on your Frenchie at least once a week. Use a good quality Pet shampoo, when you bathe (not too often!) Frog dogs can be prone to skin problems, and it's best to catch those early. Ears and wrinkles on the face need to be cleaned weekly. Clean the wrinkles on the face daily, after one year of age. Toe nails clipped every one-two weeks. Flat nosed breed should not be exercised in hot weather. Love to run and play for hours if you let them. Frenchie's Can't take the Hot Weather. Just have bottle water and a cup of ice to cool down your Frenchie. (smile) Some have higher energy levels than others. Frog Dogs Love to be the center of attention. Frog Dogs are a proud breed and always rule............... (smile) Frenchies love to be dressed up! (smile) Cute Dolce...... Bella and Aundrea staying cool at the Dog Show...... Health Issues: Because of their short nose they tend to snore and have some breathing problems. Heat stroke, eye injuries and skin problems. Quality food diet and vitamins will be improve your Frog dogs life. Activity: Fairly Active, higher energy level after eating. (that is when they turn into a real clown dog) Living Environment: Indoor Family member, they can get enough activity indoors and are okay without a yard. Give Frenchies a couple obstacles in the house and watch them run circles around the race track!!! Basketballs drive them crazy!!! (smile) Your Frog Dog should never be left alone outdoors, because they could overheat, also they can not swim. Frenchies love to travel, all they want is to be with you!!!
